Help missing book

I downloaded a book from the market and got the message successful download and a picture of the books front cover appeared on my screen. I went my aldiko reader expecting it to be on the shelf, its not there. How do I find its location? Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming you bought the book outside of Adiko? I don't know where the book downloaded so you may have to look around, but to get it on Aldiko's bookshelf you need to import it. Start Aldiko, press the home icon in the upper left corner, select sd card and find the book. When you click on a book, you'll be given the option to open it or import it, choose import and it will appear on the shelf.

Thanks for that but still cant find it. But on the + side I think I know what I did wrong. Instead of connecting to the book site via the internet icon and downloading. I should have gone to the aldiko app and downloaded from the shop/trolley icon. Is this correct? Sorry but I am new to this only had the phone a couple of days and I am getting old

You wrote that you did load the book from market.
So this book may be an app.
Take a look at your app tray for the book title.
