Missing Call Bug

So, my friend has unique issue with her galaxy s9:

She reports that she's gotten multiple calls from people who claim that they've missed calls from her and her call logs hold no record of those calls being placed. I figured it might have been a mistake, but it's not just one person but half a dozen. Has anyone ever seen this?

Is she a T-Mobile customer? If so, possibly something to do with this?

It's not that she's making calls that don't connect. Other people are calling her saying calls connected to them that she has no record of placing.

Are these people she knows? If they are random people it could be that some spammer is spoofing their number and by bad luck they've chosen hers. If so I guess she'd need to get the networks involved to trace it down.
