Root Missing Contacts from Outlook

Sprint - Galaxy S - Microsoft Exchange Server

My Outlook contacts and calendar from work do sync with my phone, but contacts are missing. I looked last night and could not find someone in my Galaxy phone book, but they were in my Outlook this morning. This is not the first time this has happened.

Any ideas?

I had exactly the same issue with a new Galaxy S - tried deleting the account from the phone and adding it again but no difference. The latest check I did was to look at the File As setting in Outlook and all the missing contacts were set to First Name, Last Name whereas those in the phone were set to Last Name, First Name. Changed them so they were all Last Name, First Name in Outlook, re-synced and voila - all missing contacts appeared.
