Missing contacts in Phone

[Drhook69]

I have some contacts on my HTC OneM8 that do not appear in my contacts list under "People' even when the 'all contacts' option is checked, They do appear as a suggestion though when I start to dial a number, so I know they are on the phone somewhere. Whereabouts on the OneM8 are they being stored? Can I somehow get them into Phone?

They're probably in the "cloud". Something to do with Gmail I think. I'm pretty sure what you want can be done but it's got to be complicated if you don't have a PC. Probably involves Rooting.

When the contacts in question do appear click on the photo section and it brings up the contact card. From there you can investigate.
