Missing feautures from Galaxy S

I'm a former Galaxy S user and I'm not sure if this features are not included in my S 3, I can't find them;
1. TV out
2. 5.1 simulation from movie or music player
3. Video player not able to play audio properly on some avi or divx files whereas my Galaxy S plays mostly all video types without ease.

Please help as I have not yet fully explored my sweet S3.

Hi Sinli,

1. TV out exists. Amazon uk do this. I'm sure other regional Amazons will have something similar.

2. If you press the eq option in the music player(left of the skip backward button) you can select 7.1 simulation (when connected to headphones/external speakers)
In the video player hub, when playing a vid, press menu>settings>soundalive and then select 7.1
3. I've not hit any formats that play strangely yet. Is it a certain codec it's struggling with? If you download gSpot for PC, it can tell you codec the file was created with.

TV out is actually through the USB port now. Search for a MHL adaptor and you'll be able to connect to a TV through it's HDMI port to your MHL port on your S3.

Thank you guys for pointing them out. I am almost disappointed when I didn't find them the way it`s layout like my Galaxy S.

About the tv out, how do i do it wirelessly? I believe I saw it in the advert that it can be done

I have an LG 55" 3D tv which I can play video / photos / slideshow wirelessly from my phone with no extra hardware. Both TV and phone are on the same network. The only thing I did was install the LG TV Remote from the Play Store.

When I play a video in the Gallery App a TV iscon appears in the top right corner. I press that and my TV appears in the list.

A message saying "Movie Play Request from external device" appears and then loading and the video plays.

I have played back S3 Recording in full HD and its perfect.
I hadnt expected this feature but its brilliant. No stuttering or anthing.
