Help Missing flashlight after upgrade

When I got my HTC I think it was Sunday I did have a flashlight app/widget pre-loaded. Somehow after the software upgraded a few days later, it just disppeared. Is there an app that will work just as well as the stock app? (I don't know anything about uploading/installing .apk files...I figured that was for rooted phones)

Any good, highly recommended apps for me to install?

I think TeslaLED Flashlight is/was one of the more popular ones without requesting a bunch of unnecessary permissions.

There isn't a flashlight as good as the one that comes pre-installed. I also lost it when I rooted the phone. After months of searching for one I liked as much and failed, I tried to find out what happened. Apparently since it's not a considered a system app it gets removed. Luckily, I found a forum with the app and downloaded it. So I've uploaded it here. You should be able to install it simply from this download. Hope it helps.
