Missing Games

Hey,

With loads of cool new games being developed for/ported to Android I figure it's a good time to ask people what games/genres they miss from yesteryear, or just miss because there aren't any/many good examples on Android. A lot of new games are heavily physics based (angry birds etc), do we think this is the future of mobile games?

Maybe we can get a good idea of what genres are truly under represented, and who knows it may help some dev's here (myself included) come up with some cool new takes on classics or find a niche to make their own.

Yeah I agree on the platformers.

I grew up on Mario and Sonic etc. Would also love a Streets of Rage port! My only problem is I have never found a platform control scheme I like on a phone!

Would love to see all of the Apogee platformers,...Duke Nukem I & II, Commander Keen series, Crystal Caves, Secret Agent, Monster Bash, Cosmo, etc. The puzzle game Paganitzu by Apogee would be good too. To get all of this maybe we just need DosBox ported to Android!

I would love to see some luke castle of the winds, dune, dungeon master, eye of the beholder you get the drift... i live some of thoes older games

I cant believe there are no good tennis games (like monkey tennis for itouch) or mini golf games (like mini golf for itouch)
