Recently I updated the software of my Samsung Nuxeus as recommended. But I lost my GPS icone. do you know how to retrieve it please

If you are referring to the blue navigation icon that disappeared with the update to Google Maps version 7, you can quite easily create your own shortcut/wizard which will take you straight into navigation the same as the old one.
Long press on your home screen, select Shortcuts, find the Directions icon, tap it and complete the widget wizard. This will put a blue car icon on your home screen.
You have a number of options when completing the wizard which should become obvious as you go through the procedure. You can create as many shortcuts as you wish with different destinations and choose whether to go straight into navigation to a destination, or simply land on the "enter destination" page.
