Help Missing icons on desktop - Android 2.3

Lurker
Hi to all

I have a problem with the applications icons I save in the android desktop. I organized a number of icons of the apps I use most on my 3 homescreens, and every night I shut down the phone and charge the battery for the next day (I always shut down the phone for charging). The issue comes when I turn on the phone in the morning and all of those icons are missing, except the ones that come stock in the phone. Sometimes they are duplicated (one over another) and sometimes are missing. I have to set again my apps icons every time, and it's very annoying.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

PD: sorry for my bad english

any widgets stored on the sd the widget will be removed when the phone is restarted, this seems to apply to some of your apps' why do you switch it of to charge? the type of battery we have in the ace ive heard its actually better to keep it on while charging,.

So, there's no need to shut down the phone for a full charge? I heard the batteries charge better with the phone shut down.

Anyway, I started to experience this issue on the last 5 days, never happened to be before.

Thanks for your answer

After some research in google I did a battery pull and the issue is fixed for now. Doing several restarts of the phone (turn off and turn on) still the issue is not appearing. I have to do some tests charging the battery with the phone shut off.

I'll post the results...
