I have some serous carrier problems. I am missing my phone number under android status, which is needed by apps like Tikl. Actually in Denmark it seams that almost everyone is missing this part. When I call my carrier to try to get them to fix it, they have no idea what I am talking about.
I think my biggest problem is that I don't know anything about this myself. How do you explain something you don't understand. I can't see why this cannot just be changed from within the android settings. Some custom ROMS support this.
Could someone explain to me how I can get my stupid carrier to understand exactly what it is THEY have to do to fix this on my SIM? Because "Programming phone number into SIM" means nothing to them. They told me to talk to Google about it since it had to be their lack on features in Android.
