Missing Pictures

Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone which I deleted 1 picture that I really need I have been searching the net and trying recovery software for the last 2 days and cannot find anything that works. I have found a few references to tec files but I cannot find them on my phone. Dose anyone have any idea how I might get it back if at all. Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the forums . I see your having trouble with your android sd card . If you delete the photo its a way to get it back . But the key words was yesterday . May i ask did you power off the device .

I have not tried to recover a deleted file, but from reading on forums such as this one, it appears that there is no way to recover deleted files on an Android device unless the recovery software was installed BEFORE the file was deleted.

However, if the file was on an external SD card, you should be able to take the card out of the phone and recover it on a PC. However, the more that the sd card is used the lower the chances that the deleted file will still be available.

you need a photo recovery software to recover the deleted photo on your phone. If you don't know which one to choose. Here is a good one for you: Remo Recover, it can do a deep scan to fully recover the photos, but you should make sure don't write new stuff to the phone or the storage card on the phone, which will overwrite the old deleted data. You can refer to this tutorial to do the recovery job.
