Missing playlist and sudden battery drain

Greetings!

Never ever had battery issues ...infact have had a fantastic run thru Jelly bean also ...but having sudden battery drain by "media server " process

what gives ?

Incidentally i cleared the cache of media storage and rebooted ..no joy!

Also i found out all my playlists had been wiped out ..although music was still around in the external SD


Any inputs appreciated

My wife's new jb update is doing the same thing. She is not pleased, and I get to try to fix it. No fix yet, but you're not alone.
