missing sense features

I have just come from a desire and noticed that when I plug or unplug my charger the screen no longer comes on. Any ideas?

It seems to be a sense feature.

With my Sensation with ICS/Sense 3.6 the screen comes on and with my One X with ICS/Sense 4.0 it's like you said.

I thought the screen switching on as I un/plugged the device was a stupid and annoying feature tbh. Glad it's gone. Why would I want it to turn on (everytime) just because I've plugged it in?

Well it is useful at times. For example, i'm using an alarm clock app. I leave the phone charging beside my bed at night and the screen always on feature lets me see the clock all night long. Better than to have to fumble for the power button in the dark, if you ask me.

The best part is that you can disable it if you don't like it, as Silver Surfer explained.

Yeah, agree to that :)
