Help Missing some apps on HTC One M8 - Play store, Google Play Music etc PLEASE HELP

I don't know if I'll get a reply but I need help. My HTC One M8 is missing a few apps that should have come when you first turn on the device. Apps such as Play Store, Google Play Music. Pretty much all the Google and HTC apps. It happened when I was messing around in the bootloader menu trying to figure out how to update my system. I pressed something then my device turned off and turned back on. Then the apps were gone.

I have an Unlocked HTC One M8
S-ON
I use TWRP
I didn't have a backup
I use liquid smooth ROM
3 is my provider - English company

Please help me guys. I can't take it back because some bits are dented and that voids the warranty. I couldn't find a video on YT on how to fix this. PLEASE HELP GUYS

ALSO I tried to factory reset it but it didn't work

You are running a custom ROM, but seem to know very little about it, so I'm guessing that you bought it second-hand with the ROM still installed?

Anyway, the reason you don't have any HTC apps is because that's an AOSP ROM, and HTC apps only work with ROMs based on HTC Sense software. If you want HTC apps you'll need to install a different ROM.

As for the Google apps, those have to be installed separately. So if your "messing around" included installing the ROM (or an update to it) you then need to install the Google apps using TWRP after installing the ROM.

You can find install instructions for this ROM here: Liquid Smooth M8 XDA thread. I really recommend reading that, and asking if there are things you don't understand. Don't fiddle with system software when you don't understand what you are doing, and once you have it all working use TWRP to make a backup.

A factory reset won't help with system software problems: all that does is erase user-installed apps and settings. It won't magically restore the original system software, or undo any changes you make to the ROM. You just need to decide whether you want the current ROM (in which case you need to flash the gapps package) or whether you want HTC software (in which case a ROM based on HTC software will be the quickest fix).

As for the warranty, I think unlocking the bootloader, rooting it and installing a custom ROM hasn't helped with that either ;).

I got my phone normally, fiddled around in the bootloader, then it happened. I then went to TWRP to wipe my whole phone but deleted the OS by acciedent while doing it. Then I installed the ROM. I got the ROM after the apps dissapeared

Is there any other ROMs desined for HTC One M8?
If not how can I fix my issue? I really like this ROM but I want my phone to be normal again.

You can't erase individual apps from the bootloader (a factory reset is the closest you can get), so I'm not sure what you actually did. But OK, it's happened.

The XDA thread for the ROM will tell you how the install the google apps (that's what "flash gapps" means). If you want HTC apps you need a different ROM. There are many other ROMs for the M8 - HTC flagships don't have a shortage of ROMs. If you want a HTC-based ROM with extras you could look at ViperOne M8 (I use the M7 version), which will come with HTC and Google apps.
