Help Missing status bar email notifications

Got the v5.0.1 OS update, today, on my Samsung Galaxy S4. No longer get email notifications on the top status bar. I do see the number of emails on the email icon on my home screen, and I do hear the sound for the incoming emails.

Text messages work fine.

I do have the email setting checked, to "receive status bar notifications when emails arrive". Am I missing another setting, somewhere?

I would like to add, the Gmail app status bar email notifications DO appear, normally.

And, when sending an email using the stock email client, it briefly shows on the status bar, when it's being sent.

Okay, so I deleted/reinstalled all of my email accounts, and status bar email notifications started appearing on the very first reinstalled account. (I actually deleted the data and cache for the email app, via the application manager.)

They all seem to be working fine, now. Something obviously got lost in the OS update process. Hope this helps someone else, who might be experiencing the same issue.
