Who is a frankenstein expert at porting rom's to and from? The Xiaomi Redmi 2 has a Snapdragon 410 also...
When I flash it I'd be sure to have a TWRP Sd backup handy. LoLimm pretty sure i can use patchrom to try and build from our stock rom and miui7 source. dev rom would be prefered. make sure you have a debrick method before doing this! i am not responsible if your phone "eats your cat" in the words of Cyanogen team.
unless you know what you're doing, i recommend holding off for now on flashing anything not made for your device. im starting a stylo telegram chat for stylo users to communicate in real time if anyone is interested and would like to track or aid my build efforts.

edit: first patch failed
looks like we need to find framework2.jar
edit 2: seems that i may have more help than i realized from being on a stock rom and having twrp for this device.. i'm doing everything on the ms631, but it should work on tmob. currently pulling all the files. and i guess we'll see where it puts us. hopefully there wont be too much missing from the extracted files to be able to build and boot. I was running into those problems when trying to bringup cm12.1 to cm13, wcnss_lge_client isnt very friendly with MM
There's also this if the port from the Redmi 2 to the Stylo is easy enough: http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-2/development
Couldn't that be fixed by flashing a modem, if we're able to extract a modem. Its a little bit different porting from source. LG does some tricky stuff with their framework.
Edit... Also its worth noting that flashing the redmi version (if it boots) will probably have broken WiFi and radio. The mi2 is CDMA and we have gsm
Not necessarily..Couldn't that be fixed by flashing a modem, if we're able to extract a modem.
