Root Miui ICS 42612 SD/USB Question

Ive Just recently updated to the newest release of Miui found here:
Team Revalution • MIUIANDROID 4.0.4-2/4/20
and I have been having problems getting my PC to recognize my phone at all when connected using USB. I can tell that its charging but the option to mount SD never pops. When I search out the option under Storage in the settings menu and manually select mount SD it still does nothing. Ive had this same problem since the previous release and was wondering if there is a work around that I have yet to try?

Here are some things that I have tried so far:
-Super Swipe x2 and re-install
-Fresh download and Super Swipe then re-install
-HBoot USB Connection from bootloader
-Delete and Reinstalled HTC Sync with a try to connect in-between

I feel that this is a ROM specific issue since I have installed Decks ICS: [ROM][ICS][4.0.3][3-22-12][WIP] ics-deck-evo [pre-beta7] - xda-developers
and the USB SD mount worked correctly.

I have also tried Bextons SD Mass Storage fix for ICS to no avail. [APP/Hack] USB Mass Storage for Ice Cream Sandwich [v.1.2.0-pre - 02.02.2012] - xda-developers

Any help would be appreciated.
 
If your referring to Bexton's SD Mass Storage Fix for ICS? I've already tried it but I'll go ahead and wipe and re-flash everything and see what happens. I'll report back.
 
It took a couple tries but it worked this time. You would think that something like that could be integrated into the rom to prevent further complications. Thanks for the help.
