Root miui issue

I installed miui tonight after a full wipe.
Seemed to go very well, but when restoring apps via titanium, it stopped 1/2 way and said out of space.

I found instructions to use terminal emulator and these commands:

su
a2sd zipalign
a2sd cachesd
a2sd reinstall

however after I enter su a2sd zipalign it tells me 'permission denied'.

What now?

Su is one command and a2sd cachesd is another, just to clarify
