Root MIUI messaging app

Does anyone know if there's anywhere I can get the miui messaging app that works? Is anyone in the process of getting that to work? I tried to install the apk from an miui zip, but that didn't work. in the zip file i went to sytem>app>mms, but it says there's a Parse error (There is a problem parsing the package). That also happened when I tried to download the music app from miui. Any help would be fantastic, thank you!

Oh by the way, right now, I'm running on cm9 alpha9.

Its your rom, you should br able to use the music.apk from miui ism not sure about the mms.apk
Edit. Did you reboot/poweroff you phone

Most of MIUI is with the Framework.

But! You can get MIUI v4 Launcher on ICS, with the widgets!.
