The Yanks and the Padres are off to a bad start. The Padres got screwed when a hit that was obviously going to be two run home run hit part of the Brewers stadium structure causing the ball to come straight down and was caught for an out. That sure doesn't seem right.
We shall see if the Yanks can do the Padres trick and win the first game at home. Do or die time.
The Yanks and the Padres were eliminated tonight. I'm quickly running out of teams I was rooting for.
The last thing I expected to see was the Dodgers' back against the wall after three games against the Brewers.
I'm not a betting man, but if I was so inclined, I would have bet that the Dodgers would not be swept at whatever level they progressed to in post season. I honestly thought they would make it to the World Series and stood a better than good chance of winning it all.
