OK guys I want to know if anyone has it. I want to buy there app for a 100 bucks that allows you to see all the games via online browser or phone. I know I it will work with my mlb at bat app via my nexus s because i was able to see the free game they gave yesterday on my phone. But on my xoom the MLB at bat app showed nothing. There was no video app. But I am unsure via the stock browser. Anyone have it or have given it a try? I dont want to buy the damm thing and when i try to access it i will be denied because it wont reflect a desktop browser.
 
I tried to watch a game on my Xoom and it never really loaded. Just sat there for a while so I gave up and am now waiting for the MLB at bat app... It was supposed to launch opening day.
 
Plus the Xoom is not a supported "live stream" device.

Also, before you pay the $100 for MLB TV, make sure you know the blackout rules. If you live in the same market as your favorite team, all games will be blacked out. I live in Dallas, TX and all Rangers games are blacked out on MLB TV.
 
Ok I bought the package cause it does have a refund/cancellation policy with no penalty. So I figured , WTF. Anyway it does work on the xoom!, well sorta. While I was on Wifi I had no problems it streamed perfectly, in HD! By the way it worked on my Nexus S perfectly as well. Xoom , I had to use the browser because the at bat app does not support streaming on it. While my Nexus I used the app and it worked fine. Now here is the funny part. when i tethered my Xoom via my nexus s like i normally do (when not around wifi) it would get stuck and tell me that it coudnt get my exact location thus the game would be blacked out. Im trying to find a way around it, just to see. Cause if worse came to worse I can just watch it on my nexus if i am not around wifi to use my zoom.

Kgeissler - Its the reason why I wanted it. Im a native New Yorker living in Florida.So I need it to watch my Yanks.

PS - Big bonus is the PS3 has a MLBTV app that I can use to stream the game to my big screenn.. SSSAAWWWEEEET

You are golden then...I think I am just going to pick a slingbox this weekend and watch the Ranger that way....

Are you using the wifi version? Or running through 3g? Also there is an mlb at bat app, its not for tablets but the phone version. It works fine for audio. But no streaming supported.
 
perhaps but this is honeycomb which is not a standard android phone OS. as such, the mlb app may not be optimized for this OS at the moment....

Am I missing something? I'm running Froyo/2.2.1, I have an mlb.tv subscription and the MLB At Bat 11 app is up-to-date.

When yup got to the mlb at bat app in the market and pull up the info. It will show the devices that are currently supported. It also says that others will be coming, when I don't know.
The epic is not listed as suported.
 
I see that some of you have been able to get the games to stream using the stock browser on the Xoom. I have not been able to do that. When I click on the game the screen goes black as if it is about to load, I start to get audio, and then it says video cannot be played? Is there something in my settings? My connection is 18Mbps at home and I am connected to WiFi. My PC is streaming the game just fine right next to my Xoom. WTF
 
I tried it again yesterday, and I never get passed the loading screen (the one with the white dot going around the bases)

Same problem here. Unfortunately, I'm a Yankee fan on work travel the next couple weeks in Red Sox country (YIKES) so outside of this weekend series, me finding a TV with a Yankee game on is sorta rough.;)
 
i use mines via dophin hd without any issue.. however its via wifi. If I try tethering off of my nexus s it wont work. are you guys trying via wifi too? are you trying other games to see if it happens with them too?

I'm going through wifi as well, however, I'm using the stock browser. Ill give dolphin a try this afternoon.
