MMS App

I have been using Textplus on my android, and it has been nice, but it cannot send/recieve MMS (Texts with pictures or other media). Has anybody seen an app that will allow users to send and receive MMS for free? The only ones I can find send SMS (texts that do not allow media).

I'm not sure about free. In the uk at least most carriers charge for mms.

Most of the replacement sms apps will send mms but some may require you to enter the mms apn settings in the app. Take a look at Chomp, Textra, go sms & handcent for the most popular options. Hangouts will also send mms.

If your recipients have smart phones you could persuade them all to install whatsapp which is excellent at sending sms & mms via mobile data.
