Help MMS doesnt have .GIF support?

there are some animated .gif pictures i receive and it sucks that i can't play them ;(. i wonder if there is a fix for this. lol

Looks like the folks over here were complaining about hte same thing:

Appearantly it is "an android problem"

i use handcent and it has animated gifs

I have the droid and got Handcent for that very problem. It works great give it a try.

Good to know. I have been using handcent since the day I got this phone.
