Help MMS downloading issues.

My wife and I both got the mesmorize in early december. Within the last few weeks, we both experienced mms not coming thru. The box would say downloading although this would never change. Called uscc and they had us check some settings and sent a test mms. That worked. However, immediately after the call we could not get it to work. I have since figured out that by adding a one to the number before sending that it solved the problem. example (1 xxx xxx xxxx). Its wierd because this had never been an issue before. I have always been able to use a nine digit number. I post this in order to maybe help with someone else having the same issue. A question though. Is there a setting that would allow you to change all of the contacts to the 10 digit or would I have to go through every contact manually? I'm new to the forums although I read them quite a bit but this is my first post/question. Thanks in advance.

Ok so this only worked for a while. I'm no longer getting the mms to come thru. Box says downloading but nothing end up actually downloading. Any one else with this issue and any solutions?

It happens to me every now and then. One message won't DL, the next message will. Its random, so I have not bothered to try to figure it out. I don't get enough failed MMS messages to make it more than a mild hassle.

My gut feeling is that its a little bit of both. There have been enough minor issues with the Mez on USCC with regards to SMS and MMS that its got to be both sides. Samsung probably has some line in their software code thats just a little bit different than every other phone out there, and USCC hasn't figured that out yet.

Just my pure speculation, no evidence or specifics to support it.

Did a battery pull and it seems to be working for now. Do you think froyo update will do anything to help resolve this? Thanks for your thoughts.

I'm running the "leaked" USCC 2.2.1 build that is on XDA-Dev. Assuming that it is the "real" thing we're supposed to get next month, I would say yes. I have not had any issues with anything so far.
