Root Mms inverted

Make a back up of your old messaging then move this one to system/app and change permissions to rw-r-r and reboot

So just to be sure , back up LGMessaging and delete it ... then place this mms in System/app directory..? Does picture messaging work? (mms)

Yes mms works, yes place in system/app and after you place it change permissions

Don't ever delete always move it to SD or rename it to LGUSMms.apk.bak
you never know how important something is till its gone.LoL

Ok. I used the inverted MMS, but my own picture doesn't show up. I googled it, i tried adding "Me" as a contact, nothing works. So Blaze, how do i get MY picture next to messages I sent? Thanks in advance!

FIXED! I needed to edit my own info in "Contacts"

How did you get your own picture to pop up exactly?

Go to contacts the first on the top is you. Edit it, add a picture of yourself or link an account and that pic will be used.

i backed up LGUSMms.apk
copied the mms.apk to system/app
and for some reason i am unable to send a mms now. i can send sms just fine.
I changed the permissions for it and still a no go.

Any Help?

Mms doesn't work

Idk about anyone else but i got this to work perfectly sending mms and sms etc....all i did was use root explorer to put it in system/app, set the permissions (if you don't see it in app drawer after doing this restart phone and it should say Android upgrading,) then force stop the messaging app in settings, clear data, and ta da! That's how i got it to work...not sure if it will be the same for everyone else but give it a shot!?

Consider using go SMS, put it in "lite mode and it's great.

Go sms is nice but i like the layout of this too much lol...it's easy on the eyes and imo it matches the stock them of the status bar and notification drawer
