MMS Issues?

I've had my Hero for a day and a half or so now and unfortunately I'm running into some issues with my phone not being able to receive MMS.

I've had a few people send me some MMS and I have not received them whether I am on WiFi or not. I am using chompSMS as well, and am able to receive SMS just fine.

What gives? Any idea why this might be happening and any possible fixes?
 
Anyone got any ideas on why this might be happening? I can SEND MMS just fine, but I am still having difficulty receiving them.
 
Gonna bump this one more time, I would really appreciate any info anyone might be able to give me on this.

Hmm...

I wasn't aware of that. Even still, wouldn't I receive an MMS notification anyway, if I have the messages notification turned off? Maybe not. I am using Chomp because of the battery drain issues with the default messenger service.
 
If you have the Messages app notifications turned off so you don't get dual notifications from it and chompSMS, then not you probably wouldn't get a notice.

Handcent is another texting app that I believe currently supports MMS. I like chomp more myself, but I don't do much MMS texting
 
I just checked the default "Messages" app, and I can confirm that while I can see the MMS that *I* have sent, I have no notifications for MMS sent to me.

Which would be consistent if you had the notifications turned off in Messages since it only notifies you when you receive a message, not send one.
 
Have you tried turning the notifications back on for Messages temporarily to see if you get them then?
 
Sorry, out of ideas here. All I can say is to call Sprint or take it to one of their stores and have them look at it. Sounds like they've been pretty helpful to people with Hero problems lately.
 
Yeah, *sigh* I was afraid of that, I can't seem to receive any MMS even though I know I have had multiple people send it to me. :(
