Root MMS issues

[dbgrigg189]

I just rooted my n1, and I'm having a funky issue I'm not seeing anywhere else. Any pics sent to me only show up as a thumbnail sized image (ie around 1 or 2kb). Anyone have any ideas as to why this would be happening. I've tried Cyanogen and UltimateDroid and they are both doing it.

Ok well nvm, I found the answer buried deep in the cyanogen forums, but for anyone else having the problem go into your settings in the messaging app->custom User-Agent and change it to N95. Apparently there is some sort of bug in the stock user agent that causes this. Hope this helps anyone else having this issue.

I can only speak to CyanogenMod 7, but open the messenger app, hit menu, settings and scroll down to "Custom User-Agent" under "extra settings" sub-section.
