Help MMS Messages through Wifi?

New to the Android world haha looking for some assistance!

I only have 25mb of data a month, because I don't think I will use it that much. I am connected to wifi most of the time, but I tried to send and receive a picture over text while I was connected to wifi and it wouldn't send. I connected to my data and it did.

Do I need to turn data on to send or receive MMS/Picture messages? Or is there a way to do it through wifi, so I don't use up my tiny bit of data per month?

you should send and receive mms when you are connected to wifi. when you are connected to the wifi does your mobile network still has a check in the box? also pm me when you get this

Hi,
As far as I know, you can't send an MMS using Wifi! You need to connect using packet data. So maybe it's better for you to send an e-mail with an attachment instead of an MMS.

Hi, you can't send/rcve MMS using wifi or if wifi is on. You have to use packet data, with wifi off. This is an Android thing, not unique to the Ace . Hope this helps & you may have to up your mb's a bit! Graham- London
