mms not working

Verizon LG Lucid 3 Android version 4.4.2
Can you please tell me how to fix this. It is obviously not the phone because VZW has already replaced the phone. Upgraded on 7-18-14. 2nd one in 11 days. It does not matter which messaging app I use.

Can you not send, not receive or both? And if you try to send, what error messages do you get? The more information we have about the symptoms, the more likely someone will be able to diagnose it.

I appreciate that you can't reply without registering, but if we can't work this out without more information you could consider that (it is free).

If you were using a GSM network I'd tell you to check the APN (Access Point Names) settings, since some networks use a special APN for MMS. However, I don't know whether CDMA networks use those (as most of the world doesn't use that standard I've no experience of it), so it's likely that advice won't help. Hopefully someone who knows VZW will have a suggestion.

Verizon uses certain servers for mms which should already be hard coded into the phone. I would suggest a factory data reset and then if that doesn't fix it, then you should call Verizon back because they must have something set wrong on your account. Or you could do those in reverse.
