MMS (Pic) location

Hi,
New to this forum and would appreciate some advise (on what may be deemed a basic issue).
I have reeived a txt message with a picture (jpeg) attached (an mms message if you like), however are struggling to locate the picture on a file manager type app, for identification and saving (say to my pc).
I have ASTRO file explorer and have also used ES file explorer in the past (so direction/advise around these would be ok), if not happy to try something else.

Also happy to provide some detail around phone settings (quite standard I thought) in order to locate the file.
Looking forward and appreciate any advise or clarification required.

regards

Hi Harry2, thanks for the suggestion.

Great 'plan B' response. I have done so and found/saved it.

Would you know where the phone would normally store these, is there another app (for example) that can search for it?

cheers

Sorry, lethal1, I've no idea ...

SMS are stored at the phone storage (where also the apps are stored).
I'm afraid that MMS are stored there too.

I think you have to open the image from the SMS and then choose to save it to the phone, else it is just an attachment. I think that's what I've done in the past :)
