Help MMS problems when connected to wifi?

So, I know this has been talked about before, but I can't find any threads that gave a resolution. When connected to Wifi, I can't send or receive MMS, and they get backed up in my inbox and won't ever receive. What can I do?

Sorry, help what? If you follow my instructions in that thread for setting up an APN, you'll be grand ;)

Oh, sorry! I only looked at your last 2 responses like you said to ;)

I'm fairly new to this, so I'm not 100% sure I follow exactly what to do. And what is an APN?

I said last 2 days not last 2 posts :)

Basically read everything I wrote in that thread. "Access point name" (or apn for short) is how your phone connects to your mobile carrier's network for data (internet and mms)

OK. Well, you say duplicate what you already have - where do I find these APN's? And how do I edit them, and how do I know what to 'strip out'?

If I'm reading correctly:

Menu>Settings>Under wireless & Networks click 'More'>Mobile Networks

Under the Mobile Networks heading, I have the following:

Data Enabled (check box checked)
Data Roaming (check box un-checked)
National Data Roaming (check box un-checked)
Network Mode (options of LTE/CDMA/EvDo, or CDMA/EvDO - the first one selected)
System Select (Home ONly, or Automatic - Home Only selected)
CDMA Subscription (RUIM/SIM, or NV - NV selected)

I have nothing about APN's. Am i looking in the right place?

All the info is in that thread. Read all my posts in order. I linked you there so I didn't have to type it all out again.

In that thread, I explain the process multiple times

Edit, oh you've edited your post. Yes, right place, wrong phone. CDMA. Guess you're stuck then

Yes, I edited. sorry! Thanks for trying to help though :)

FWIW, going into the Mobil Networks in settings, and changing to CDMA EvDO (instead of LTE/CDMA/EvDo - effectively turning off 4G) seems to have fixed my MMS problem. Now WTF is the problem with metro 4G??
