I understand that generally most phones cannot send MMS messages over a Wifi network, only the carrier's network (in my case, T-mobile 4G on a Galaxy S2).
I've read though that some people on Android phones have been able to set their phone to "mobile data" or something like that which forces the phone to drop the Wifi connection automatically when sending or receiving MMS messages and then automatically reconnect. I'm sure that's not the primary function of "mobile data" but certainly appears to be a useful one for such instances.
Can this be done with the Galaxy S2? I can't find any useful settings if it is possible, and I don't like having to manually shut off Wifi just to send one message, then turn it back on again.
