Hey guys so my girl always sends me photos of her but today I can't get them, I get a message that says "MSS received, blah, blah, blah, and says expires: 1/24 9:12", but when I press on it ti download, it doesn't. And when I send her a MSS, it doesn't send

Were you able to send/receive before? Have you changed anything recently?

MMS is dependant on a 3G/4G connection... you would also need to ensure that your mobile data is turned on

Yes I've always been able to send and receive and I have LTE every where I go and always got pictures but today I can't send or receive. No I didn't change anything.

Sometimes those downloaded pics take some time...like hours. You should get a new text notification when it shows up, but you have to find that same text pic was in..it will not show up as new.

Haha yeah you were right. It did show up 3 hours later. I just foreclosed hangouts and signed out and singed back in

Could be your carrier. I'm with straight talk and they will often simply call to deliver mms.
