I can't help with Mobi Flashcards, but since you're having trouble, I can point you to the top-rated flashcard app, called AnyMemo. That's what I use. Works great. AnyMemo is open-source, and free on the Android Market. It has text-to-speech for several languages. You can build your own decks on the PC or download pre-built decks from the AnyMemo website.
