Mobile Data - Restrict which applications

[bibble235]

Hi,

I want to restrict which applications can use mobile data on my Samsung Galaxy S3. I have written to the app provider (Tunein) to provide a tickbox with no joy yet!

I am happy to write an app but if there is already one I do not want to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks
Iain

I use Droidwall for that purpose.

AFAIK, all these apps need rooting. I would also like to have an app like this but afraid of bricking my MSRP bought One X.

Hi,

Is there a quick work around to allow root access. I have built some simple apps for android but nothing complex.

Alternatively 1/, I am in New Zealand is it straight forward and reversible to root
Alternatively 2/, What bought app is there for the firewall

Thanks,
Iain
