On my Nokia 2.2 running Version 10 I am finding that Mobile Data is ON when everything says its OFF. I can switch the data off by switching it on and then turning it off but then something switches it back on again. Odd

I suspect this is a 4G problems but its early days

this is prevent any third party apps from running. if it is still happening then a system app is doing this. if the issue does not happen then a third party app is creating the issue.

care to share what you did to stop it? it might help others who have the same issue as you did.

I thought I was getting close but when I go into safe mode it switches on Aeroplane mode on which removes the problem even when this mode is switched off. I have tried a different network but that does not help

I have done a factory reset and so far so good BUT it looks like there are some updates in the pipeline

should be ok to update the phone

It does look that just uninstalling the suspect app does not work but has required a factory reset to clear the problem.
I will contact the support for the suspect app and voice my suspicions.

Its more than one app which is causing this so I will have to do another reset. It makes me think that apps want to use mobile data even though its switched off but I only have 500mb to use
