Mobile Hotspot/Tethering Trial????

When i pressed my tetheting option it gives me a message where it tells me that I have a free trial of mobile hotspot and tethering and that once my trial has ended I will begin to get charged...

Anybody tried it yet??? Any msg telling me when my trial will end????
 
Yeah it worked great, however my trial ran out. It will give a message when you press the app to call VZW to set it up after your trial is over.
 
Thank you both for the info... I called tech support last night and unfortunately they mentioned that my trial was no longer available.. funny thing is I never actually did use the trial???... But i may just try the app you informed me of.

The trial period was back in July or something if I remember correctly, I had it about a month... used it a handful of times for my kids to connect their iPod Touch's when on the road but that was about it.

Worked good, but not worth $30/month unless I needed it consistently for business use or something.
 
I'm paying 23.99 for the mobile hotspot and the damn thing keeps losing service. I have full bars on 4g and the all of a sudden the 4g disappears and I can't get on the internet. This lasts for about 30 seconds and 4g comes back on and it's good to go. It cycles like this for a few minutes and then seems to be ok. It does it randomly throughout the day and it's pretty annoying. So glad I'm paying for this crappy service.
 
You can get any hotspot widget and use it to turn the hotspot on for free, give it a try it works.

I cannot get this app to work, and haven't had time to contact tech support yet.. it gives me an error "Sorry no network connections available to tether at this time, turn of mass storage and connect to a 3G/4G network and try again"

No matter what I have done thusfar I cannot get it to work. Any help is appreciated!
 
I got it working now too, crazy me didn't realize there was 2 icons -- one to start USB tethering (which I was using) and the WIFI tether. Appears to work great once I found that, no erros! Haven't actually tethered anything to it via WIFI though but appears to be just fine.
