Mobile Internet??

Got home and got a data package.
In Accounts & Sync: Background data ON

Google, Stocks (which I don't want) and Weather are no longer Green.

Wireless & Networks:
Mobile Network ON
Mobile Networks: Data Roaming ON, Network Mode: GSM/WCDMA auto
Enable always-on mobile

Still reports need network connection.
No 3G, H, W or any other indicator over the antenna bars on top.
Do have a battery meter in upper left hand corner giving me % of Battery left.

What is wrong here?

Check APN settings and make sure an APN has been created for your current carrier.

Yes APN was the problem. Had to input manually now all works,
