mobile network disconnected! desperate!

kenziem

Lurker
i have a zte merit in the straight talk version and i looked and its run off of att i guess. ive been out at my dads in north dakota and my mobile network has been working fine but after driving a couple hours away and losing my mobile network connection it hasnt come on since ive gotten back to his place. itll only work when i use their wifi but i didn't need to use it before. im going home in a couple days and im worried it wont work when im not near wifi and i dont have wifi at home because it worked before but now it will not. ive tried turning on airplane mode on and off, ive gone to the settings and clicked the data enabled mode and it still wont work, ive even clicked data roaming and i shouldnt be roaming but it didn't do anything anyways. ive turned my phone on and off and nothing. idk its weird because it worked before and now it wont. i came from minnesota and the drive here to north dakota it worked fine but when i drove farther into nd it stopped. hope i gave enough details, any suggestions???????

i looked in my settings and it says mobile network state disconnected, i dont get it cuz it worked fine before and it went out last friday night and ive just been using my dads wifi since. im not very good with technology and im not sure what to do.

Greetings kenziem,

Welcome to the forums.

I'm not familiar with your device, so I'm not quite sure where to tell you to look.

Easiest thing to do is look in you notification bar. Is there a option to toggle mobile data off and on? Maybe represented by up and down arrows or something.

Did you accidentally set your phone to airplane mode?

Sometimes you can hold the power button for a few seconds and it might present you with a option. This varies from phone to phone.

I'd say double check in your network settings to see if you over looked a selectable option.

I didn't see a forum for you phone, sorry.
