Mobile network or Wi-Fi?

Out of curiousity, is it better to use the mobile network or Wi-Fi if it is available? Is there a difference in battery consumption/speed/connectivity, etc.?

Use wi-fi for sure if it's available. It uses less battery power and it's faster.
