Help Mobile Network problem

Kitube

Newbie
I have a HTC Explorer running Android 2.3.5.
Mobile Network was working fine up until today, don't know what caused it but,
I can turn the Mobile Network on and off but the H symbol or 3G just doesn't appear, and when i use a browser or something i don't have any connection.
it's as if the tick thing is just a dummy.
and before you ask, its not a problem with my contract or something like that, nothing has changed there.

any ideas?

It sounds like the phone is either not registering correctly on their network or you lost the APN for your provider. I'd suggest talking with them them as well.

i asked my service provider and they didnt help.
but all of a sudden it just worked again and a few days later not anymore.
currently its working.

I have been having mobile network issues with my last two devices. Nexus One and now Galaxy Nexus. I have not been able to get to the bottom of things with T-Mobile uk. My solution is to switch to air plain mode and back again or pull the battery out and restart. This does give me a data connection back most the time but is a real pain.

I'm starting to think this is an issues with android its self and not the networks. I'm sure Google must know about this but are just keeping quiet. And there are serious issues with the last update to 4.2.1 to the point I almost want to get an iphone or win phone. And I have been with android since the start with the G1.

I hope Google do something fast
