I made a very bad choice updating my phone. I have recently updated my SGA from 2.3.4 to 2.3.6 and now I cannot connect to my mobile network. I tried reflashing it but still no luck. My phone works great but I cannot send/receive calls or text. I am on the Koodo network. Any suggestions? ---->I never backed up my files either....

I used odin to update too 2.3.6. I have a pay you go phone from koodo. How can i tell if ita locked?
can you use a sim card of a different carrier on your phone or you are stuck with koodo only?
Did you flash the firmware of your own region or some other region?

Firmwares are region specific, you can't just flash any, even if you do flash firmwares from another region you won't have too much problems but you are network locked, you can't flash any firmware except for koodo's firmware.
Which firmware did you flash? give the file name here...
Look for a koodo firmware on sammobile and flash that.

That looks like an east asian firmware, mainly for malaysia, indonesia, singapore region.
I don't know where you can get a Koodo firmware but i have read people exchanging this firmware in many places.
If you post a request thread for Koodo firmware, i am sure you will get some response. You can request people having this firmware to share it with you. You can also search in the net or in these forums for a link.
