Help mobile network wont stay ticked

I Had my incredible s working then i turned on wifi for a few minutes then turned wifi off so i could use the phones mobile network and now in the quick settings the mobile network box has a faint tick in it and it says turning on but actually wont turn on. In the normal settings it says its already on but i cannot connect to the net !!! I have had nothing but problems with HTC and these incredible s phones. I have turned the phone off and on again but nothing seems to help. Has anyone got any ideas ???

Might be that you are in a poor signal area so the phone is not connecting and if that happens you are not able to connect or disconnect even though the phone is showing that it is connected or not. Test it out in an area you know is strong and see if you get a signal. You could also try a soft boot as well.
