Help mobile to computer print

i am try ot print from my galaxy tab s2 wi-fi only to my printer using google print but i cant no error message or anything i press print on web page and thats all it does printer is added to my account . my question is do i have to set up wifi on my printer . or what else is wrong it works on my htc one m8

Your printer will require an internet connection if you want to print from your Google Drive or over Wi-Fi. Otherwise, it will not work.
