Mobile to PC Video Calling?

Is there an app/platform that facilitates mobile to PC video calling? Fring as far as I can tell does not have a desktop component. Skype doesn;t have mobile video yet?

Am I missing something? Would I fring to google chat?

I am relocating for work and my family is staying put for awhile. Would appreciate any advice. I can always use Skype for desktop to desktop but II may not always be at my laptop to do that.

Try oovoo or yahoo. Oovoo is the better of the two. Personally, I prefer Tango but that's only mobile to mobile.

I think fring works... at least that is what I am told. Personally I am waiting for skype to work. My family in Hungary use that pretty heavily. Not sure why skype is taking their sweet time here...

Probably a question of money/rights. It always is, in the US.

Apple's 'FaceTime' – for video calling between all iPhone 4s, iPod Touches, and Apple laptops and desktops – is of course the system to beat. The big drawback is that it isn't cross-platform, (no) thanks to Apple's lock-in policies.
