Root Mobileupdateclient.apk

Mobileupdateclient.apk is in the system apps folder. Has anyone tried deleting this? I am guessing this is the app that allows the FOTA. if it is maby we should find out before they push a root fix on us.

i also notice this phone has alot of different hidden menus, wonder what LG has up their sleeve? lol

Hidden menus are in all Androids. A lot of stuff for testing, data transfer rates, etc -- most of which is dangerous to mess with if you don't have a clue.

i know about the menus and stuff, i mess with alot of androids and stuff...

i removed and Saved {MobileUpdateClient.apk} maybe a week or 2 ago. and as of yet no ill effects at least none to my knowledge .....phone runs great....
