For folks watching personal IPs, the option of toggling on and off would be interesting. Local storage on the device maybe for timed clips?

I would like a main screen with several thumbnails of various webcams, with all my favourites. I would also like a snapshot facility so if I am watching a zoo webcam I could capture the moment.

Also, a good search facility is a must. Thanks.

I would download it if it was free permanently. Doesn't look like something I'd pay money for. Thanks anyway, though

The best webcam app should allow users to search public feeds, have an option for full screen and a partial screen with thumbnails of other cams, you should be able to import a feed from your personal cam. The ability to take snapshots is a must. Being able to import public cams you find online would be a benefit as well.

a) Superior search capability

b) Ability to watch multiple webcams at once.

These two things are MUST HAVES.

I think the best webcam app should have an easy way to set up and pair a feed from your personal webcam. Every time I get a camera feed app for any device that feature is missing or requires a separate setup. An accessory program with a simple setup interface would be nice. Also, another nice feature would be the ability to set a recording remotely. That is, say you notice something on your camera feed and want to record it - just push a button and its being saved. Could make for easy security solutions.

EDIT: a multiple-feed page would be nice too. Like, if you have four cameras around a location you could set a page in the app to display four feeds at the same time, so you can monitor them all together.

From your screenshot it looks like you're on the right track. This kind of app needs a good way to discover current and active webcam/ipcam feeds. I currently us ipcamviewer and enjoy its grid view and the ability to use the PTZ functions of capable cams, but really don't like how hard it is to find new cams to my list.
