I own an HP touchpad. Love it, have a few patches and tweaks and turned logging to minimal. It's not all that bad, but I feel that it could be running at a better, faster more pleasing rate. My boss has the same TP but with a cyanogenmod (7?) on hers and IT'S A GLORIOUS THING!!! I am mod-curious, but also lost with the Sticky instructions; it seems like sooooo much to do. I don't have a PC to load files to. School library is my only PC choice. What can i do? I've been able to download somethings, like this nightly tenderloin rom...something or other ^_^...but have NO clue what to do with something like that.


Speak lay-woman's terms, please. I am still a newbie and willing to learn!!!

Hi Sita,

Forget CM7, you need CM9 on yours.

Who installed CM7 on your boss's computer? Do you know someone in IT at work or a neighbor kid who's good with computers?

I'm sure you can come up with someone to help you with this. I doubt a public computer will work. They're usually locked down so you can't install stuff.

The Touchpad CM guides are a bit intimidating. There's just too much stuff to install to install it, but OTOH, once it's installed, it's easy to update later without a computer.
