Help Modify bottom black bar

Hi I am new to the phone modding community. I am wondering if there is anyway to customize the apps on the bottom black bar of the phone.

Most people install a home replacement app, also called a launcher, which gives you much more customization than the stock offerings. Some of the good launchers are aHome, Open Home, LauncherPro, ADW EX, Go Launcher, Spark, Slide Screen, Zeam, dxTop and many more. Search the market for launcher and you'll get a nice list - most of them are free.

IIRC if you go to your app drawer and select menu>edit, you should be able to drag and drop to and from the bottom bar.
