modify contacts from PC

kojtl1000

Lurker
I messed up my contacts in my HTC Desire (by sync with PC, sync with Exchange, ....) and now I have lots of contacts 3 or 4 times in the phone. Is there any way I can modify the contacts from my PC? That would be a lot easier than doing this on the little HTC screen. This used to be possible with my old Nokia phone through the OVI software.

Thanks

You could just delete all on the phone and then re-sync/re-load from the PC, assuming the contacts on your PC are the way you want them.

All your contacts should be stored onto your Google mail account. Go to www.gmail.com, sign in with your account details then click on the "contacts" tab. You should be able to sort everything from there and will be updated on your phone when its refreshed/synced/ whatever they call it lol.
